The fire burned more than 13,000 Empordà hectares. After their extinction was regrettable, particularly, the four people killed and injured tens of causing. This devastating fire also caused extensive loss of tangible property (houses, cars, tractors, ...) and livestock as well as a great ecological damage from various animal and plant species.
